Helena de Bres
Helena de Bres is an associate professor of philosophy at Wellesley College. Her research in political philosophy addresses the foundations and content of principles of distributive justice in global politics, including those that apply to international trade, poverty relief and immigration. She also writes on moral philosophy and philosophy of literature. In 2019-20 she will be taking up an ACLS Burkhardt fellowship for recently tenured scholars at Stanford University, to work on a project concerning storytelling, meaning in life and literary nonfiction and a book combining personal narrative with philosophy.
