Elizabeth is a Mellon Fellow at the Council for European Studies at Columbia University where she serves as the Literature Editor of EuropeNow. She is also a PhD candidate in the English Department at Harvard University. Her dissertation, Bored to Life: Affect, Audience, and the Modern Stage, examines the symbiotic histories of theatrical innovation and boring aesthetics from Maeterlinck to Beckett.
At Harvard, Elizabeth is the Executive Director of the Mellon School of Theater and Performance Research and formerly coordinated the Theater and Performance Colloquium. Outside of her research, Elizabeth is a theater practitioner in New York City and Durham, NC.
